COVID-19 UPDATE
All events and program sessions Scheduled through end of May canceled or postponed.
In regards to the current health concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are and will continue to monitor the recommendations from the CDC and use these recommendations to make wise decisions concerning our organization.
To do our part in reducing the spread of the virus, we made the decision to cancel all Songwriters in the Round activities that were scheduled for last week. We thank everyone who this affected for understanding our decision. We also extend our sincerest gratitude to all those sponsors and ticket holders who have allowed us to keep their donation regardless of the show being canceled.
Looking ahead, in accordance with the CDC's recommendation to cancel all gatherings of more than 50 people for the next 8 weeks, we have decided to cancel or postpone all events and program sessions that we had scheduled through the end of May. Our remaining Aspire sessions will be rescheduled for later in the year. Unfortunately, due to the timing of our classes, the remaining Engage and Grow Sessions, as well as Grow Graduation, will be canceled altogether. All committee meetings scheduled through the end of May will be conducted via conference call.
As we look toward Leadership Celebration and other events in June, we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated as we make our decisions. While we will miss you over the next few months, the health of you and our community as a whole is our priority.
